Saving Hydrogen Fuel Consumption and Operating at High Efficiency of Fuel Cell in Hybrid System to Power UAV

The present fuel cell technology is under considerations as a potential power source for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Fuel cells are an electrochemical plant that takes hydrogen and oxygen inputs produces electricity, water heat outputs. Most of the global production from non-renewable fossil fuels. Therefore, this paper investigates how to save consumption operate at high efficiency in cell/battery hybrid system small Aircraft. We achieved by working on management propulsion UAV using fuzzy logic controller charging up batteries. consists 1.2kW PEM cell, three 12V batteries, DC/DC converters, electric engine. controls batteries' output powers through bidirectional converter. It will help maintain operates optimal point with main supply different flight phases achieve desired power.
